THESE WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER: 1) Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the possession of a consumer not caused by a defect in material or workmanship. 2) Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special handling provisions in the instructions. 3) Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear. 4) Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those authorized by Manufacturers. 5) Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.
Manufacturer's Warranty : 1 Year parts and labor
In the event of a warranty related issue, contact the manufacturer directly at 800-777-2627. The manufacturer (not the seller Genius Goods Inc/PropaneCooler.Com) are the sole responsible party for the warranty and all related service, parts and repairs.
For damage in shipping ONLY, contact us within 24 hours of delivery (not 24 hours from when you opened the box or not 24 hours from when you tested the unit) at 704-288-0953. After 24 hours the customer is deemed to have taken possession of the item and shipping insurance is lapsed.
Genius Goods Inc and PortaGaz Inc, Inc do not sell or recommend extended warranties on our products. While these policies are very profitable to the seller, it is our opinion that these warranties, mostly offered by third parties, are not often used, (because the quality of most major appliances from reputable companies today is very high) and are often full of exclusions.
Never send a unit back without prior authorization, you will be charged the maximum amount restocking and all shipping fees.
